Blogging is something I have always had a slight interest
in, but something I never thought I would be able to do. For one, you need a
whole lot of confidence and courage to put yourself out there for the world to
see, and secondly, you have to either have a lot of knowledge on a subject or
an interesting life worthy of sharing. I’m still not sure I have either of
these things, but I do know that I am entering into a new chapter of my life
and I want to make the most of it. I
figured what better way to keep myself accountable to making 2015 the best it
can be than sharing my journey with all of you! I guess to give you a better
idea of what I mean I should start off by telling you a little about me.
I was born in the amazing state of
California, but spent my teen years on the East Coast. Even after spending 7
years on the East Coast, my heart still belonged to California and I knew that
the cold weather and southern lifestyle was not for me. After graduating high
school, I used college as my chance to get back to my home state. I am now a
college freshman at a university in Southern California, and I could not be
happier. Having the beach, Disneyland, and LA in my backyard still feels like a
dream, and I am loving every second of it.
As 2015
approaches I am so excited to be in a place where the dreams I have had can finally
come true and I plan to work towards them with everything I have. Basically I
am just a 19 year old who is trying to make the most of this new season of
being on my own for the first time. This blog will keep record of my adventures
around California, my journey to discover new things, all of my current
obsessions and anything that pops into my head really. Obviously I will explain
more about this later as I figure it out myself! I hope you guys decide to
stick around and come along for the ride. One of the things I love the most
about this blogging thing is the community I see that is built around it and I am
so excited to get to know you as we share life together! Too cheesy? Yeah I
thought so, but it’s true!
